Hi Sam,
Hope your week is going well. Just a friendly reminder that invoice #1042 for $1,250 was due on June 2. You can pay here: Pay invoice.
If it's already on its way, thank you, and please ignore this.
Alex
Northreturn sends polite reminders the moment an invoice goes past due. You stop chasing. The cash comes home.
Built for QuickBooks, Stripe, FreshBooks and Xero. No new software to learn.
You did the work. Getting paid shouldn't be a second job.
Asking good clients for money feels awkward, so reminders slip.
Checking who paid, writing follow-ups and keeping track of who you already nudged eats time you could bill.
When invoices slip, it's hard to know what's outstanding, what's late and what you can actually count on.
Set it up once. After that, follow-ups run on their own and you only hear about what needs you.
Link QuickBooks, Stripe, FreshBooks or Xero during your pilot. Keep invoicing exactly the way you do today.
Pick your tone and sign-off, then review the messages. Nothing goes out until you've approved them.
Northreturn sends polite reminders by email and stops the moment a client replies or pays.
Real exceptions are flagged to you, and a weekly report shows what's outstanding, recovered and needs attention.
Days are counted from the invoice due date. If the client replies or pays at any point, follow-ups stop automatically.
Short, friendly notes sent in your name. You approve the wording before anything goes out. Example below uses a fictional client.

Hi Sam,
Following up on invoice #1042 ($1,250), now a week past due. Here's the link again: Pay invoice.
If anything's holding it up, like a PO number or a different billing contact, just reply and I'll sort it out.
Thanks, Alex
Hi Sam,
Invoice #1042 for $1,250 is now two weeks past due. Could you let me know when I can expect payment? A quick reply with a date is perfect.

Thank you, Alex

Follow-ups are paused. You might call Sam, offer a payment plan, or let it rest. Reply with what you'd like to do.

It watches, nudges and keeps track, so you don't have to. You stay in control of the tone and the tough calls.
Spots invoices the day they go past due, so nothing slips through the cracks.
Your tone, your sign-off, approved by you. No threats, no collections language.
Reminders go out by email. Text-message reminders are on the way for clients who live on their phone.
The moment a client writes back or pays, follow-ups for that invoice stop on their own.
Disputes, questions and promised dates come to you. Routine reminders don't.
What's outstanding, what was recovered and what needs your attention, in one short read.
Invoices that get handled the right way, every time, without you having to think about them.
Clients get a timely, courteous note instead of a late, frustrated one. A kind reminder at the right moment keeps things moving.
Once a week you get one simple report. You know what's coming in and what needs a decision from you.
Keep sending invoices the way you do today. Northreturn connects to your account and takes it from there.

Straight answers to what people ask first.
No. Messages are short, polite and signed with your name. During your pilot you approve every one before it goes out, and after that you choose: keep approving or let them send on schedule. There are only three reminders over two weeks, and they stop the moment a client replies or pays. No threats and no collections language.
No. On the Pay-for-results plan, the 10% is charged once per recovered invoice. It only applies to invoices that were already past due when follow-ups started, and never to invoices paid on time.
Follow-ups stop automatically as soon as the payment shows up in your invoicing tool. If a client replies to say they've already paid, that reply stops follow-ups too, and it's flagged to you to confirm.
Northreturn asks for the least access it needs, read-only wherever your invoicing tool offers it, to see which invoices are past due and whether they've been paid. We never sell your data. If you don't continue after the pilot, access is removed and your data is deleted within 30 days. You can also ask us to delete it at any time. See Your data and our Privacy Policy.
Northreturn is built for QuickBooks, Stripe, FreshBooks and Xero, and integrations are rolling out through the free pilot. Tell us which tool you use in the pilot request and we'll confirm it's ready before you start. You keep invoicing exactly the way you do now.
Not yet. Reminders go out by email today. SMS is coming soon, and it will only go to clients who can opt out by replying STOP.
Anything still unpaid is escalated to you with a short summary of what was sent and any replies, so you can decide the next step.
For 30 days, Northreturn follows up on your overdue invoices at no cost. Setup takes about 30 minutes: one short call and one review of your messages. At the end you get a report of what came back and decide whether to continue.
Tell us a little about your invoices. We'll reply by email to set things up. No cost and no obligation.
